Event Promotion Plan
Considerable promotion has commenced with advanced materials supplied to community, tourist,
aviation and car magazines, where long lead times are required. These advanced articles have been
informing local and nation-wide audiences of this up-coming unique event.
Other planned promotions are listed below:
Publicity will be sought through community news papers leading up to this event with articles and specific news releases.
A series of media events are planned to generate widespread local, provincial and national coverage. Media flights are also planned prior to the event, when early display aircraft arrive. Vintage cars will also be positioned on-site.
Posters will be distributed to Sponsors, Exhibitors, aviation and automobile related
businesses and corporations, car and motorcycle clubs, as well as local community businesses.
Mailing of promotional materials will be sent to a lengthy list of those with an interest in the heritage and other aspects of the event.
The Museum’s website will profile the Event and the Sponsors/Exhibitors plus facilitating the convenient online purchase of Event tickets.
Follow-up articles and photos will be prepared to facilitate ‘after-event’ media attention.
