Recreation of First Flight

On August 16, 1947, the prototype Beaver, CF-FHB-X (shown above) flew at Downsview for the first time.  The building behind the plane was then the de Havilland Canada factory and is now the Toronto Aerospace Museum.

On Saturday, May 26, 2007, we will stage a recreation of the first flight.  The exact time will be announced soon.  The recreation will be attended by some key people associated with the Beaver.  Rain date for this event will be Sunday.
